Honda Cars Makati, Inc. (HCMI) was established in 1990 and is Ayala’s pioneer business in the automotive sector. Beginning operations in 1991, it helped spearhead the introduction of the Honda automotive brand in the Philippines. HCMI, along with its wholly-owned unit, Honda Cars Cebu, Inc. (HCCI), owns and operates AC Industrials' dealerships, the brand’s largest in terms of network share. Today, the country has a nationwide presence with eleven dealerships in Pasig, Alabang, Bonifacio Global City, Makati, Manila Bay, Mandaluyong, Cebu, Iloilo, Mandaue, Negros Occidental and Cagayan de Oro.
